The Quick Sip
The refreshing and naturally succulent flavours of juicy peaches is blended into caffeine free and antioxidant rich green Rooibos, and adorned with peach pieces. Un-oxidized green Rooibos has a milder taste than its Red counterpart.
Tea Tales
The peach has been cultivated in most parts of Asia, particularly ancient China where the process of developing superior strains has continued for two millennia. The fruit was introduced into Europe from Persia, as its name (prunus persica) implies. In Chinese tradition it is a symbol of long life, one of the Chinese Eight Immortals is depicted carrying a Peach of Immortality. Returning to matters more earth bound but no less exalted, young brides in China were referred to as "peaches", no doubt in part due to the fruit's mouth-feel and touch. It is a reference that loses little in translation, as the peach is used as a reference in many cultures to describe a pretty young woman.
